How to operate the deflation step of the industrial chiller?

2023-04-23

In the daily operation of industrial chillers, it is easy for air to enter the refrigeration system. Because the low temperature in the refrigeration system will not condense the air into liquid, it will affect the heat dissipation of the condenser, resulting in an increase in the condensation pressure, resulting in industrial cold water. The machine cannot perform normal operation.

Therefore, it is necessary to discharge the air in the industrial chillers in order to maintain the normal operation of the industrial chiller.

Industrial chiller deflation operation steps

1. Close the outlet valve of the liquid receiver or the outlet valve of the condenser;

2. Start the compressor and collect the refrigerant in the low-pressure section into the condenser or liquid receiver;

3. Shut down after the pressure of the low-pressure system drops to a stable vacuum state;

4. Loosen the bypass hole screw plug of the exhaust stop valve, and turn it forward for about half a turn. The exhaust valve stem makes the valve into a three-way shape, allowing high-pressure gas to escape from the bypass hole.

Block the exhaust air flow with the palm of your hand. When the hand feels cool and there are oil stains on the hand, it means that the air has been basically exhausted. Tighten the screw plug, reversely rotate the exhaust valve stem, and close the bypass hole. It should be noted that each deflation time should not be too long, and it can be carried out 2 to 3 times in a row to avoid wasting the refrigerant. If the top of the condenser or liquid receiver is equipped with a spare shut-off valve, the air can also be released directly from the valve.
