How does the chiller work?

In the industry, the chiller is divided into air cooled chiller and water cooled chiller. In terms of temperature control, the chiller is divided into low temperature chiller and normal temperature chiller. The normal temperature is generally controlled in the range of 0 degrees to 35 degrees. Cryogenic machine temperature control is generally in the range of 0 degrees - 45 degrees below zero.
The working principle of the chiller is: inject a certain amount of water into the water tank in advance, cool the water through the cold water mechanism cooling system, and then the pump will send the low temperature cooling water into the equipment to be cooled, the chilled water of the chiller will take away the heat, the temperature rises and then return to the water tank, to achieve the role of cooling.

The chiller system operates through three interconnected systems: refrigerant circulation system, water circulation system and electrical automatic control system. Compressor is the core component of the whole refrigeration system and the power source of refrigerant compression. Its function is to convert the incoming electrical energy into mechanical energy, which compresses the refrigerant. Refrigerant circulation system of chiller: Liquid refrigerant in evaporator absorbs heat from water and begins to evaporate, and a certain temperature difference is formed between refrigerant and water at last. Liquid refrigerant is also completely evaporated into gas and then inhaled and compressed by compressor (pressure and temperature increase). Gaseous refrigerant absorbs heat through condenser (air-cooled/water-cooled) and condenses into liquid. After being throttled through the thermal expansion valve (or capillary), low temperature and low pressure refrigerant enters the evaporator to complete the refrigerant circulation process.
