Industrial Chiller Refrigerant Charging Tutorial

Applicable models: JSFL-03/JSFL-05/JSFL-06, please contact the manufacturer for other models.

Note: This operation is only for customers who require to discharge the refrigerant before delivery. Under normal circumstances, the chiller is shipped with a standard refrigerant, and the refrigerant has been charged, and there is no need to recharge.

Prepare the following items: R22 refrigerant, vacuum pump, refrigerant meter.

Connect the refrigerant meter to the refrigerant port of the compressor, discharge the air in the compressor, and vacuumize for about 20 minutes.

The connection schematic diagram is as follows: Figure 1, Figure 3, and Figure 4 are the vacuum state. Figure 1, Figure 2, and Figure 5 are the operating states of charging refrigerant.

After vacuuming, it is recommended to charge about 1KG of refrigerant into the compressor, and then start the machine. During the operation, fill the pointer of the low pressure gauge to a value within the range of 3.5KG-4.0KG, as shown in the figure, it means that the filling is OK. Turn on the machine and use cooling to work.
